Hi everyone! I am here today to share a fun card I created for the January 2023 Altenew inspiration challenge. I recently re-vamped my craft room and once all the extra clutter was out and things were organized better I had the urge to craft. I organized many of my sprays and such in rainbow order and it has made a huge difference. I can’t believe the amount of extra things I had that haven’t been used! Have you ever looked at some of your supplies and thought “why did I buy that”? I did many times during this clean out. Anyway, on to my project for this month’s challenge. Here is a look at the inspiration provided.

I created my card using a variety of Altenew products. As soon as I pulled out the Mega Succulent stamp set I knew I was going to water color with it. I decided to emboss the image to help me keep the colors where I wanted them. I still kept the technique loose by blending the colors as I added them and not being to precise. I am a messy crafter by trade so it being perfect just wouldn’t be me.

I used the Nesting Frames dies to create the different layers. Using every other die to give it a pop out effect with dimension tape underneath. I love how it looks like an accordion just waiting to be pushed closed. I will have a video up on my YouTube channel shortly to show how I created this card. It will be my first ever creation video! The next picture shares a closer look at the different layers.
