HI everyone! I have a pretty card to share with you today. I like to have some sympathy cards on hand just in case. I made this one is softer colors of lavender and grey, with a pop of green. Using washi tape for the grey vines made this card come together quickly.
While stamping the main images I wanted to keep some white space on the flower that would be in the front. This gave the flower much needed light and dimension, in turn making it pop. I can see doing this with a black card base to really have the flower stand out. If you’ve never tried one of Altenew’s Build-A-Flower sets, I highly recommend them. They come with instructions on how to layer. Creating beautiful images each time. Here’s a closer look at the card. I did add foam tape under the main image to give a bit more dimension.
